Daniel Dubois

Daniel Dubois has an extensive work experience across various organizations. Daniel is currently serving as the Director of Communications & External Affairs at Suffolk County Water Authority since December 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director Of External Affairs and Government Relations Coordinator at the same company. Daniel worked for Suffolk County from 2016 to 2022, serving as the Chief Deputy Clerk of the Legislature and Legislative Aide during different periods. In 2015, they worked as the Finance Director for Calone For Congress. From 2012 to 2015, they worked for the Suffolk County Democratic Committee, holding roles such as Deputy Finance Director, Paid Canvass Director, Finance Assistant, and Field Manager. Daniel also worked as an intern for Suffolk County in 2011. In 2010, they were a Media and Policy Intern for Jennifer Maertz for New York State Senate and a Campaign Intern for Regina Calcaterra for New York State Senate.

Daniel Dubois obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Stony Brook University from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they attended Farmingdale State College where they pursued Computer Science. In addition, they obtained a certification in CPR & AED from the American Heart Association in August 2020.
