Fábio Coelho currently serves as the Research and Development Officer at Sugal Group, where responsibilities include the analysis of fresh tomato samples, product development, and the implementation of kaizen methodologies since August 2020. Fábio has a strong academic background with a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a Licentiate degree in Engineering in Renewable Energy and Environment from Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre. Previous experience includes roles as a Team Leader in Filling Lines at Damm, where Fábio applied LEAN methodology, and as an Engineering Intern at Font Salem Sociedad Limitada, focusing on process optimization and standard operating procedures. Early career experience also includes a position at BEST Almada as an Observer Member and as a Bartender/Waiter at Restaurante Bairro Novo, which helped develop essential soft skills.
