Daye Brake

Daye Brake's work experience includes roles as a Middle School Principal and Assistant Principal at Sugar Creek Charter School, Principal/Director at B.L.U.E. - G.R.E.E.N. Academy, and Publisher at Daye Brake Publishing, LLC. They also served as a Principal Fellow in the NC Principal Fellows Program and an Educator at Mineral Springs Arts and Leadership Magnet Middle School. Prior to that, they worked as a 6th grade Language Arts Teacher at Discovery Academy of Lake Alfred and as the Southeast Regional Director - BookScan Operations at CCP Solutions. They began their career as a Program Coordinator in Sales and Marketing at Disney Institute.

Daye Brake earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from Spelman College in 2007. Daye then obtained a Master's Degree in Publishing from Pace University in 2011. Most recently, they completed a Master's Degree in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2018.
