Ellen True

Ellen True has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ellen started their career as a Research Assistant at Georgia Tech Research Institute, where they designed and developed portions of a cache-to-capture and analytics system for treating autistic children. Ellen then worked as a Software Engineer II at Acuity Brands, creating manufacturing and system integration solutions.

Ellen then transitioned to a managerial role as the Manager at Two Story Coffeehouse. Ellen later joined Renew World Outreach as a Product and Design Manager, where they managed the functionality, testing, manufacturing, branding, sales, and support of a solar-powered audio player. Ellen also overhauled the company's branding and created visual content for their products.

In 2011, Ellen joined SugarCRM and held various positions, including Technical Support Engineer, Manager of Knowledge Management, Senior Manager of Knowledge Management, and Director of Knowledge Management. In these roles, they championed customer perspective, provided product expertise, and delivered user-focused documentation. Ellen also played a key role in the development and improvement of SugarCRM's support site.

Currently, Ellen serves as the Vice President of Product Management at SugarCRM, overseeing product strategy and leading a team in feature planning and grooming.

Ellen True obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same institution from 2005 to 2007.
