Chengjun Yuan

Chengjun Yuan's work experience begins with an exchange program at Technische Universität München in 2014. They then interned as a Software Engineer at Facebook from May 2016 to August 2016, and later joined as a full-time Software Engineer from September 2016 to January 2018. Chengjun then worked as a Software Engineer at Google from January 2018 to July 2021. Following this, they joined Confluent as a Software Engineer from July 2021 to May 2022. Currently, Chengjun is a Co-founder and CTO at Suger (YC W23) since May 2022, where they focus on B2B selling and co-selling across various cloud marketplaces such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Redhat, and Alibaba.

Chengjun Yuan completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering & Automation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2011. Chengjun then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Engineering Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2014. In 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.

In terms of additional certifications, Chengjun Yuan completed the following courses on Coursera: "Cloud Computing Applications" in October 2015, "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" in September 2017, "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" in October 2017, "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" in October 2017, "Convolutional Neural Networks" in November 2017, and "Sequence Models" in June 2018.
