Jason Wang is a seasoned professional in brand management and business development, currently serving as the General Manager - Brands at Sugoi Co since June 2023, where the focus is on anime product distribution and brand growth for the Australian and New Zealand markets. As the Owner and Director of JW Brand Consulting since March 2017, Jason offers expertise in various aspects of brand management and marketing within the Toy and Entertainment industries. Jason has also consulted for Toei Animation USA, facilitating licensing opportunities for popular anime titles in the same regions. Previous roles include Business Development Manager at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Australia and Commercial Licensing Manager at the Sydney Opera House, where Jason successfully developed innovative licensing models and managed extensive brand portfolios. With a solid educational background, including a Bachelor of Communication Design from RMIT University, Jason has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to establish partnerships and drive brand growth across multiple sectors.
