Kabelo Makatse

Kabelo Makatse has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to 2020. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Correspondent and Head of Blog for OK! Magazine Nigeria, where they provided content, edited press releases, and ran the blog. In 2014, they worked as an Office Administrator for Palazzo Properties, overseeing office correspondence, scheduling meetings, and supervising staff.

In 2015, they joined MiWay Insurance Limited as a Marketing Intern, gaining experience in marketing. Later that year, they became the Public Relations and Digital Marketing Manager for SUJIMOTO CONSTRUCTION LTD, where they managed PR matters, developed strategies and campaigns, and published company literature.

In 2017, Kabelo worked as a Brand Communications Manager at Loatsad Promomedia, followed by a brief stint as an Editor at briefly.co.za in 2018. Kabelo also worked as an Office Manager at TRACE during that time.

Most recently, Kabelo has been working as a Freelance Writer for Topcontent, creating content based on different topics and strategies, conducting research, and tailoring content to specific clients.

Kabelo Makatse's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Independent Bonn International School for their primary education. Kabelo then enrolled in Berlin British School from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Cambridge IGCSE degree. Following that, Kabelo attended International School of South Africa from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued A-Levels. In 2009, they attended Varsity College and received a Computer Architecture Comptia a+ Certificate. In 2016, Kabelo enrolled in the School of Media and Communication at Pan-Atlantic University and obtained an Executive Certificate in Digital Marketing. Their most recent educational endeavor was from 2020 to 2021 at the Accra International School of Advertising and Design, where they studied Graphic Design.
