Ahmed AbuShanab has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Sukoon-Takaful since December 2023. Prior to this role, Ahmed held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Arabian Scandinavian Insurance Company from August to December 2023 and was the Head of Northern Emirates Region for Distribution at Sukoon Insurance from October 2022 to September 2023. Ahmed's career includes significant positions at Oman Insurance Company, where responsibilities included Head of Northern Emirates Region and various management roles such as Assistant Vice President - Branch Manager, Broker Relationship Manager, and Underwriting Manager. Ahmed holds a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Birzeit University.
