Emily Schmitt

Emily Schmitt has a strong background in the legal field. Emily began their career as a Legal Assistant at Skimmer Law Firm from 2004 to 2008. Emily then worked as a Law Clerk at Patterson Law Firm in 2009 and at Davis Brown Law Firm in 2010. In 2011, they joined Sukup Manufacturing Co. as their General Counsel, where they provided legal advice to the Board of Directors and Senior Management, coordinated the negotiation and closing of contracts, and offered counseling and advice on employee relations. Emily later became the Chief Administrative Officer at Sukup Manufacturing Co. in December 2020. Emily also served as the primary spokesperson for Sukup Safe T Homes, promoting the project and coordinating exposure opportunities. Additionally, they have worked as a Professional Speaker for Sukup since 2015.

Emily Schmitt earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2011. Prior to that, they studied Business Management at the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University. Additionally, they obtained membership in the Iowa State Bar Association in 2011.
