Satya Prabhakar

Satya Prabhakar is the founder and CEO of Sulekha. Satya was previously the CEO of Smart Information Worldwide from January 2002 to September 2007, and played an instrumental role in developing the entire service from concept to deployment, including business strategy. Prior to that, they were a Senior Program Manager at AT&T from July 1995 to May 2002, where they led the AT&T (then SBC) effort in a JV with Walt Disney, Ameritech, PacBell, BellSouth, and GTE to develop an interactive TV infrastructure and programming. Satya also spent time as a Senior Principal at Honeywell from August 1989 to June 1995, and as a Technology Advisor at TCS from September 1986 to August 1987. Satya began their career as an Engineer at Philips from January 1985 to August 1985.

Satya Prabhakar has an MBA in International Finance from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, an MS in Computer Science / Electrical Engg. from the University of Florida, and a BE in Electronics from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Satya also has a 10+2 in Math, Physics, Chemistry from Hindu College, Machilipatnam and Nirmala High School, Machilipatnam.
