Roberta Byron-Lockwood

Roberta Byron Lockwood is an experienced leader with a strong background in tourism and marketing. As President and CEO of the Sullivan County Visitors Association since June 2000, Roberta has focused on brand development, as well as website and social media strategy, alongside advertising and marketing initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Deputy Commissioner at Empire State Development from June 1996 to April 2000, where responsibility included the I Love NY marketing plan and its Matching Funds administration. Additionally, Roberta held the position of Executive Director for the Central Leatherstocking Tourism Region from August 1983 to June 1996. Roberta holds a Master's degree in Business and Public Administration from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
