Jim Gardiner

Jim Gardiner is a seasoned professional in the field of oceanography and technology innovation, currently serving as Technology & Innovation Portfolio Director and Global Innovation & Development Manager at Sulmara since September 2022. In February 2024, Jim Gardiner took on the role of Director at Warrior Citizen Science. Prior experience includes roles as Research Scientist and Product Manager at Valeport from January 2018 to September 2022 and September 2008 to January 2018, respectively. Jim Gardiner's career began at UKHO, where positions included Defence Development Analyst and Senior Oceanographic Analyst from September 2000 to August 2008. Jim Gardiner holds an MSc in Oceanography with a focus on coastal studies from the University of Plymouth, a PgCert in GIS from UNIGIS, and a BSc(Hons) in Ocean Science from the University of Plymouth.
