John Crennell

John Crennell is an experienced Senior Survey Engineer currently working at Sulmara since April 2023, and previously held the same title at Fugro Survey B.V. from July 2012 to April 2023, specializing in the mobilization, calibration, and operation of offshore survey systems for the Oil & Gas and Renewables sectors. Crennell's extensive offshore survey experience includes deep water construction, as-built surveys, UXO surveys, offshore wind farm construction, FPSO hook-ups, geotechnical/geophysical surveys, subsea metrology, and LLAUV surveys. Prior roles include Field Service Engineer at Pitney Bowes, Maintenance Engineer at Böwe Systec, and Aircraft Avionic/Electrical Technician in the Royal Air Force, with foundational training in avionics maintenance technology from the RAF Cosford.
