Rashid al-Yahyai

Rashid Al-Yahyai serves as the Dean and Professor of Horticultural Sciences at the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences (CAMS) at Sultan Qaboos University since September 1993. In addition to academic leadership, responsibilities include overseeing research, curriculum development, and community engagement. Rashid Al-Yahyai has held positions as Senior Research Consultant at Golden Harvest National Projects, Agricultural Research Lead Consultant at AgriS United, and co-founder of Mont. Other significant roles include Board Member for Nakheel Oman Development and the Agriculture & Fisheries Development Fund, as well as a former Member of Parliament for the State Council of Oman. Rashid Al-Yahyai's academic credentials include a PhD from the University of Florida, an MSc from Cornell University, and a BSc from Sultan Qaboos University.
