Andrea Grandi

Andrea Grandi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Andrea began their career as a P. Officer Chief in the Marina Militare Italiana from 1987 to 1997. Andrea then transitioned into the energy industry, working for GE Energy Oil & Gas as a Site Manager from 1997 to 2009, where they led site activities and managed large projects such as LNGs and Power Plants. Following this, they joined GE Oil&Gas as the Site Operation Leader ANZ, SEA & LNG Projects worldwide from 2009 to 2013, where they played an active role in problem prevention during project installation and commissioning. Andrea also led global teams and ensured customer satisfaction. Andrea then worked at Alstom Switzerland Ltd. as a Site Manager from 2013 to 2016, overseeing site activities and the commercial and finance aspects of EPC large projects such as Power Plants. Currently, they are employed by Sulzer, where they have held various roles since 2016. Andrea started as a Project Manager, responsible for managing Separation, Reaction, and Mixing Technology Projects globaly. Later, they became a Senior Project Manager, and finally, the role of Head of Projects Delivery and Operations.

Andrea Grandi obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from ITIS A. Pacinotti-Piombino (LI) and Industrial Tecnical Institute A. Pacinotti in the years 1980-1986. They also hold a Mechanical Engineering Diploma from the Ministry of Public Instruction obtained in the year 1986.
