Julio Elgueta

Julio Elgueta has extensive work experience in the field of technology and consulting. Julio has held various roles and responsibilities throughout their career.

Julio began their career in 2001 as an Analyst/Developer at Bancafe Guatemala, where they worked until 2006. Julio then joined Innovestra Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant, implementing ERP solutions and selling software solutions.

In 2008, Julio joined Panacredit as a Senior IT Consultant, and worked there until 2010. Julio then joined Grupo Monge as a Consultant/Collaboration Manager, leading the Collaboration Department and implementing projects for employee connectivity. Julio also managed the corporate credit software and the SQL Server database for the Credit Approval Process.

In 2014, Julio joined SIAFI as a TI Consultant, where they worked on the development of the SIAFI project and coordinated tasks with interns.

From 2015 to 2021, Julio worked at Laureate International Universities as a System Architect and later as a Senior Application Developer.

Most recently, Julio joined Sumadi in 2021 as an Enterprise Architect, and was later promoted to Director of Security and Enterprise Architecture in 2022.

Julio Elgueta completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a financial emphasis at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica in 2015. Prior to that, they studied Computer and Systems Engineering at Universidad Rafael Landívar from 1998 to 2004, specializing in computer software engineering.
