Matt Coffey

Matt Coffey is an experienced data engineering and software development professional currently serving as Data Engineering Manager and previously as Data Engineer at SumerSports since January 2023. Prior to this, Matt Coffey worked at Capital One from August 2021 to December 2022 as a Software Engineer, where responsibilities included managing CI/CD processes for machine learning models and developing data pull procedures. During a technology internship at Capital One in 2020, Matt Coffey designed a web microservice for trading Federal Home Loan Bank bonds and utilized C/C++ to integrate with the Finastra treasury system. Earlier experience includes a Service Management Internship at Kiewit, where Matt Coffey employed Azure Data Factory and Power BI to enhance data management and visualization. Matt Coffey is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, awarded in December 2020.
