Carrie Lyons

Carrie Lyons, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Senior Medical Science Liaison in Oncology at Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. since July 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Regional Medical Advisor for Prostate Cancer at Myovant Sciences before its transition to Sumitomo Pharma America, and various positions at Takeda and Avanir Pharmaceuticals focusing on neuroscience. With a diverse background in marketing and medical affairs at Janssen and KPMG, Carrie has developed expertise in areas such as brand and life cycle planning, competitive intelligence, and scientific communications. Education credentials include a PhD in Biology from Queen's University, an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, and additional degrees in Exercise Science and Kinesiology.
