Joanne Nguyen

Joanne Nguyen, PharmD, MS, currently serves as the Director of Medical Information and Medical Communications at Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc., where leadership includes the development of innovative medical content and the integration of medical information systems. Previously, Joanne held the same title at Myovant Sciences, and prior to that was the Associate Director and Account Medical Advisor at Boehringer Ingelheim, managing medical information across various therapeutic areas. Experience as a Regional Medical Science Liaison at HealthStarCES/Fresenius and Clinical Health Educator at Bristol Myers Squibb, along with a Clinical Research Fellowship at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, showcases a strong background in medical communications and clinical research. Joanne holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Western University of Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences from California State University, Los Angeles, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCLA.
