Jose Fabretti has extensive experience in the agricultural industry, particularly in crop protection. Jose began their career at Hoechst do Brazil Quimica Farmaceutica SA in 1983, where they held roles as a Technical Assistance & Development Agronomist and later as a Product Manager Insecticides, overseeing the entire insecticide portfolio for all crop segments. In 1994, they joined Hoechst Schering AgrEvo do Brazil as a Market Manager - Crop Areas, responsible for managing the market for crop areas. Jose then moved to Bayer CropScience in 1999, where they served as the General Marketing & Business Development Manager and later as the General Portfolio & Projects Manager. In 2005, Jose joined Sumitomo Chemical Latin America as the Business Director for the MERCOSUR Region. Jose later became the Senior Director - Sales, Marketing & Business Development before being promoted to Senior Vice President in 2017, where they held overall business management responsibilities and accountability for the Crop Protection division of Sumitomo Chemical Latin America. In addition, they also served as a member of Iharabras Administrative Council, representing Sumitomo, from 2005 to 2010. Throughout their career, Jose has focused on driving business growth, optimizing efficiency, and achieving profitability goals.
Jose Fabretti completed their education as follows:
- From 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Post Graduation in Business Controlling & Finance specialization at Business School São Paulo / BSP.
- Between 1979 and 1983, they obtained a degree in Engineering, specializing in Agronomy from Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
- From 1970 to 1973, they attended Agricultural Technical High School in Penapolis SP, where they received a degree in Agricultural Technician, with a focus on Agriculture & Zootecnia.
