Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based construction company. The Company operates in two business segments. Along with its subsidiaries, the Civil Engineering Work segment is engaged in the design and construction of civil engineering works, including bridge-, tunnel-, road- and station improvement-related construction works, as well as other related businesses. The Building Work segment is engaged in the design and construction of building works, including residential houses, commercial facilities and logistics facilities, among others, as well as other related businesses. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 20 subsidiaries and three associated companies.
