Kegan Lovely

Kegan Lovely has extensive experience in the financial and sustainability sectors. Kegan currently serves as the head of Sustainability Risk, EMEA at SMBC Group since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of ESG SVP at Bank of America from an undisclosed date in 2010 until August 2022. Kegan also has experience in the nonprofit sector, serving as a Founding Trustee for both the Foodbank Foundation UK from June 2011 to January 2022 and KiteRight from June 2012 to August 2016. Earlier in their career, Kegan worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an Environmental Sustainability Manager from June 2008 to December 2010 and as an Operational Risk Manager from August 2006 to June 2008. Kegan began their career at MLHSBC as a Project Implementation Manager from an undisclosed date in 2000 until 2002.

Kegan Lovely attended Hudson Park High School in East London, South Africa from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained their Matric degree. Kegan then pursued further education at Rhodes University from 1992 to 1995, earning a BA Hons in Economics and Industrial Psychology.
