Ali Alhassani

Head of Clinical at Summer Health

Ali Alhassani has extensive work experience in various healthcare and consulting roles. Ali is currently serving as the Head of Clinical at Summer Health since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Boston Children's Hospital, where they held the positions of Pediatric Hospitalist and Resident Physician from July 2017 to the present. At Boston Children's Hospital, Ali also served on the Housestaff Council for Patient Safety and Quality Improvement. Ali was the Director of Clinical Strategy at Humana from July 2021 to May 2022. Before that, Ali worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Project Leader from April 2020 to June 2021 and as a Consultant from January 2018 to March 2020. Ali began their career as an Initiatives Fellow at Aledade, Inc. in January 2015. Ali also gained experience as a Policy Fellow at the Massachusetts State Senate from June 2011 to August 2011.

From 2004 to 2008, Ali studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and obtained a Bachelor of Science (SB) degree in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering.

In 2008-2009, Ali attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing.

Lastly, Ali Alhassani attended Harvard Medical School from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Medical Doctor (MD) degree specializing in Medicine.

In terms of additional certifications, Ali obtained the "Data Scientist with Python Track" certification from DataCamp in July 2020.
