Helen Deming

Helen has been a Board member since 1981. She married Cal Deming in 1955, and together they raised four children. Helen worked at the Grandvue Medical Care Facility for 23 years, first as a secretary, and then as social worker for the last 19 years. She is the Secretary of Grandvue Auxiliary and is very active in the United Methodist Church. Helen has generously volunteered her time at the Boyne City schools for many years and is affectionately referred to as “Gramma” by children and teachers alike. Helen has especially enjoyed being part of the growth of Summertree and is proud of its reputation as a quality and caring organization.
