Software Engineer at Summer

Prior to their work at Fullstack Academy of Code, Leistman was a registrar at Alex Katz Studio, where they managed the day-to-day studio operations of internationally-renowned artist Alex Katz. Don started as a studio assistant and was promoted to Registrar after taking initiative to reorganize the studio's inventory system, media archive, and consignment workflows. While at the studio, Leistman also worked closely with a web developer to recreate an existing Filemaker inventory system as an online platform, tracking 10,000+ artworks across galleries, museums, and internal storage locations. Don coordinated logistics with galleries and museums as well.

Leistman also has experience as a webmaster, having worked for The Brooklyn Rail from September 2010 to June 2017.

Don Leistman's educational career includes a Fullstack Web Development program from Fullstack Academy and a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, Art Don'story from Columbia University.
