Diego Garrido

Diego Garrido is a General Surgery Resident at Trident Medical Center since June 2022, following a year as a General Surgery Intern at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Prior experience includes roles as a Sub-Investigador at CEVAXIN and as a Research Assistant at Instituto Conmemorativo Gorgas. Diego Garrido's medical internship experience spans positions at the Ministry of Health Panama and Hospital Santo Tomás. Additional experience includes an observational role at Tampa General Hospital in the General Surgery department and an internship in archaeology at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. Diego Garrido holds a Doctor en Medicina y Cirugía from Universidad Latina de Panamá and a Master's in Clinical Medicine from the Ministry of Health Panamá, along with a Bachiller en Ciencias y Letras from Colegio Episcopal de Panamá.
