Howard Masoner

Howard Masoner is an experienced law enforcement professional with a diverse background in public safety and security roles. Currently serving as a Detective at Summerville Police Department since August 2020, Howard previously held positions as a Police Officer at the same department and as a Public Safety Officer at Medical University of South Carolina. Prior experience includes roles as a State Trooper with South Carolina Highway Patrol and Florida Highway Patrol, as well as a Special Agent with CSX Railroad Police. Additionally, Howard worked as a Field Engineer (Instructor) at L-3 Communications - Cyterra, providing instruction to the US Military on advanced detection technologies. Howard holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Columbia Southern University.
