Jeff Christensen

Jeff Christensen is an experienced retail professional with a focus on buying and merchandising in the nursery industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Buying & Merchandising at Summerwinds Nursery since October 2007, Jeff negotiates contracts, manages vendors, selects product lines, sets retail pricing, and oversees inventory management. Prior to this role, Jeff worked as a Store Manager at Payless Nursery from October 2003 to September 2007, where responsibilities included managing retail operations and purchasing various product categories. Jeff began a career in sales as an Outside Sales Representative at Central Garden & Pet from March 1991 to February 2003, representing significant retail partners. Jeff obtained education at the College of San Mateo from 1989 to 1991.
