Erik Olson

Erik Olson is a Co-Founder of Off Camber Productions, LLC, overseeing two bicycle race series in the Seattle metro area since November 2021. Concurrently, Erik serves as a Ski Patroller and Patrol Supervisor at Summit at Snoqualmie, with responsibilities including slope management and medical care. Erik has been an Avalanche Instructor for the National Ski Patrol since September 2015, leading courses for local ski patrol and search and rescue communities, and also holds the position of NW Regional Avalanche Advisor. As President of the Ski Patrol Rescue Team, Erik manages operations in conjunction with King County Search and Rescue, focusing on mission planning and execution. Between November 2022 and September 2023, Erik worked as Interim Engineering Manager at Backcountry Access, Inc., contributing to the development of avalanche transceivers. Erik's previous experience includes a long tenure at Synopsys Inc, where Erik held titles such as Vice President and Sr. Director, managing global teams and training initiatives. Erik holds a BS in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
