Matthew Lowe

Matthew Lowe has a strong background in cybersecurity and information security. Matthew is currently serving as the VP, Information Security Officer at Summit Bank, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer at Solarity Credit Union from January 2022 to May 2023. From March 2021 to November 2021, they were a Cybersecurity Engineer (contract) at PayPal. Before that, they worked as a Cybersecurity Analyst (contract) at iboss from October 2020 to March 2021. Matthew also gained experience at International Paper, where they served as a LAN Support Specialist III from September 2017 to September 2020. Matthew'searlier roles include Senior Cybersecurity Support Engineer and Cybersecurity Support Engineer at Symantec from April 2013 to September 2017 and June 2012 to April 2013, respectively.

Matthew Lowe completed their education at Lane Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Network Operations in 2015. In addition to their degree, Matthew has obtained several certifications. In February 2016, they received the CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA. In August 2016, Matthew earned the Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) – Symantec™ Advanced Threat Protection 2.0.2 certification from Symantec. Most recently, in July 2022, they obtained the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate certification from Fortinet.
