Farhan Baig

Farhan Baig currently serves as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Business Officer at Bank Makramah Ltd since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Deputy CEO - Business at Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Ltd. from June 2020 to May 2022, and SEVP/Head of Retail Banking at MCB Islamic Bank Ltd. from March 2019 to June 2020. Farhan Baig has also held significant positions at MCB Bank Limited, including Executive Vice President/Business Head - North and Executive Vice President - Business Head-Central/Head SME & Middle Market in the Commercial Banking Group. Earlier in the career, Farhan held the role of Country Head for Middle Markets & SME at Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan Ltd., and has extensive corporate banking experience from HBL - Habib Bank Limited and Askari Bank. Farhan Baig earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Bristol between 1995 and 1997.
