Myron Vance

Development Operations Supervisor at Summit Biosciences

Myron Vance has worked in the field of chemistry for over 20 years. From 1998 to 1999, they served as a Laboratory Technician at Transduction Laboratories Inc., where they tested Antibodies using ELISA techniques, tested for positive antibodies utilizing Gel electrophoresis of Western Blots, and used HPLC and UV/VIS Spectroscopy to conjugate antibodies and purified peptides. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as an Environmental Chemist/Analyst at EnviroData Group, where they analyzed environmental samples by GC/ECD and HPLC following EPA methods, operated, maintained and troubleshot multiple GC/ECD and HPLC systems, and researched and developed new EPA methods and applications. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Forensic Chemist II at the State Medical Examiner’s Office, where they extracted and analyzed blood and urine samples for Benzodiazepines and Opiates by HPLC, researched and developed a Benzodiazepine and Opiate methods for HPLC analysis, and performed complex Toxicological examinations. From 2003 to 2012, they worked at Murty Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a QC/R&D Chemical Analyst. Finally, from 2012 to present, they have worked at Summit Biosciences Inc. in various roles, including Development Operations Supervisor, Analytical Validation Team Lead, Product Development Scientist III, and QC Chemist III.

Myron Vance attended Berea College from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
