Brett Tatum

Brett Tatum has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brett is currently working as the Director of Technology at Summit Carbon Solutions since January 2022. Prior to this, Brett worked as a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from October 2020 to January 2022. Brett also served as a Cloud Platform Architect at World Wide Technology, where they delivered foundational engagements for enterprises adopting AWS and developed new professional services offerings. Before that, Brett worked as a Senior Cloud Architect at Pivvot, LLC, where they led cultural and digital transformation and managed IT operations. Brett also held the position of Senior Cloud Architect at TRC Companies, Inc., delivering cloud-based solutions and implementing document management systems for clients. Brett started their career as a Network Support Specialist at Bartlett and Company, and then as a Network Specialist at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Brett also gained experience as a Client Technical Support at Quest Diagnostic and as a System Specialist at Miller Law Firm.

Brett Tatum obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Brett obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2018. Brett also obtained the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification in June 2020, and the AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification in July 2020.
