Luis Piasco - CAP, CSM, LSSGB

Luis Piasco has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and drilling engineering. Luis currently serves as a Sr. Project Manager Drilling & Engineering at Summit Carbon Solutions since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Management Consultant at Sand Cherry from August 2022 to October 2022.

Luis has also worked at Halliburton, where they held two roles. Luis served as a Project Manager - Global Tech. Svcs. Chief from February 2019 to May 2022, leading and providing support for new application development. Luis also worked as a Project Manager - Well Engineering Advisor from January 2016 to May 2022, leading cross-functional teams and managing well construction turnkey projects.

Before their role at Halliburton, Luis worked at QRI as a Principal Analyst, Drilling Advisor from October 2013 to July 2015. In this role, they led engineering teams and negotiated contracts for well construction projects.

Luis also has experience as a Co-Founder and Project Manager at Drilling Engineering International. Luis managed multiple projects in Latin America from May 2005 to October 2013, focusing on drilling engineering consultancy and project management services.

Earlier in their career, Luis worked at Tesco Corporation. Luis served as a Regional Technical Manager for the South America Business Unit from June 2005 to May 2006, providing leadership and technical support for casing drilling design and operations. Luis also held the role of Business Development Director for Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East from August 2004 to June 2005, contributing to the development of business plans. Additionally, they worked as a Regional Technical Manager for South America and General Manager for the Argentina Branch from May 2000 to August 2004, overseeing the administration and providing technical support to drilling engineers.

Luis Piasco attended the Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Drilling Engineering. Luis continued their education at the same university and earned a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering. In addition to their academic qualifications, Luis Piasco obtained several certifications from the Six Sigma Global Institute. Luis became a Certified Agile Professional (CAP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), and a Scrum Master (CSM). These certifications were obtained in June 2022.
