Catherine Murphy serves as the Director of Community Outreach at Summit Counseling Center in Atlanta since July 2010, specializing in integrated counseling and education services across 22 locations in North Fulton. Prior to this role, Catherine was the Lay Coordinator for the Get2Work! Career Ministry at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church from 2010 to October 2011. Catherine's earlier experience includes positions as Marketing Director, Investor Relations Officer, and Executive Administrative Assistant at Appalachian Community Bank from 2005 to 2009, where responsibilities included managing marketing strategies, investor communications, and executive support. Catherine’s career began at Ceto and Associates, where roles included Office Manager and Executive Administrative Assistant. Catherine has a robust educational background, having attended the ABA School of Bank Marketing & Management, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Hutchinson College, and Abilene High School.

A family resource center providing professional counseling, psychological testing, and school-based therapy services that address the whole person - body, mind, spirit, and relationships. The Summit also provides Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness Education. With a staff of over 30 licensed therapists, we serve people of all ages and provide a wide range of specialty services, including help for those who want to grow individually, couples who want to improve their relationship, parents, teens, and children. We help people tackle alcohol or substance abuse problems, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and loss. We serve our community through our Main Office in Johns Creek, 6 community-based locations in Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Dunwoody, and Sugar Hill, and multiple public and private schools in Fulton, Dekalb, and Gwinnett County.
