Barbara Cooper

Barbara Cooper has extensive experience in the field of developmental disabilities, currently serving as a Service and Support Manager at the Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities since July 2019. Previously, Barbara held various roles at the Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board from January 2014, including Service and Support Administrator and SSA Manager/Forensic Court Liaison. Additionally, Barbara worked as a Service and Support Administrator at the Portage County Developmental Disabilities Board from August 2018 to July 2019 and briefly as a Substitute at the Summit County Board of Developmental Disabilities in late 2011. Earlier in Barbara's career, from July 2006 to January 2012, Barbara served as a Parole Officer with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Individual and Family Studies from Kent State University, earned between 1990 and 1995.
