Chris Barker is the Emergency Preparedness Director at Summit County Public Health since May 2009. Responsible for overseeing preparedness within Summit County, Ohio and the North East Central Ohio Regions Healthcare Coalition. Coordinates public health preparedness and response initiatives for NECO Healthcare Coalition Region. Past experience includes serving as the Business Continuity Coordinator at YRC Worldwide, Inc. Holds a Master of Public Health from Kent State University, a BS in Emergency Management from University of Akron, and an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from The University of Akron.
