Summit County Public Health
Randy Katz has worked as the Summit County Bee Inspector at Summit County Public Health since February 2020, where Randy inspects apiaries and educates beekeepers about parasites and diseases affecting honey bees in the area. Prior to this, Randy was the Manager of Sales & Purchasing at City Scrap & Salvage for over 20 years, handling the purchasing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as public relations tasks such as mailing out promotional items and addressing customer needs. Randy graduated from The Ohio State University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems and Services.

Through its programs and activities, the Health District seeks to create a healthful environment and insure the accessibility of health services to all.
