James P. Grenon

James P. Grenon has a diverse range of work experience in the financial and credit union industry. James P. currently serves as the Vice President of Administration at Summit Credit Union. Prior to this, they worked at Piedmont Advantage Credit Union from 2011 to 2019, where they held the roles of Member Financial Wellness Program Manager and Senior Indirect Lending Manager/Director of Lending. From 2008 to 2011, James was the Credit Administration Manager at Truliant Federal Credit Union. Before their time at credit unions, they worked as a Branch Manager at Equity One, Inc. from 2000 to 2008. James began their career as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual from 1998 to 1999.

James P. Grenon, SHRM-SCP, CCUE, CCUFC has a diverse education history. James P. attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where they obtained a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) degree with a focus on CUNA Management School. James P. also pursued a Six Sigma Green Belt-Financial Services certification from Villanova University and earned an MBA in Business Administration-Global Management from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, they studied International Management/International Marketing at the University of Mannheim and holds a B.S. in Economics from East Carolina University. James has also obtained several certifications, including a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) from the Credit Union National Association and a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM. James P. has acquired various other certifications, such as North Carolina Property & Casualty Agent, North Carolina Mortgage Loan Officer, Notary Public, and several insurance-related certifications from the North Carolina Department of Insurance.
