Chris Miller has extensive work experience in the fire and security industry. From 1996 to 2005, they served as the General Manager at Cal-Counties Fire Protection, overseeing all sales and service operations and managing a team of 22 employees. From 2005 to 2011, they worked as the Suppression Manager at SimplexGrinnell, responsible for contracting, service operations, and project management. From 2011 to 2014, they held the position of Territory Sales Manager at Tyco Fire & Building Products, providing sales and product support to distributors and managing a network of over 120 distributors. From 2014 to 2021, they were the Territory Sales Manager for Engineered Systems at Tyco Fire Protection Products, managing distributor accounts, providing technical support, and driving specifications for fire suppression systems. Since 2017, they have been working as the Senior Regional Sales Manager at Johnson Controls Inc. In December 2021, they transitioned to their current role as the Vice President of Operations at Summit Fire & Security.
Chris Miller obtained a Green Belt Certification and Kaizen Facilitator Certification in Manufacturing and Service Processes from Tyco Six Sigma in the year 2009. Prior to that, they received a high school diploma in General Education from Chino High School during the period of 1992 to 1996.
