Pete Byers

Pete Byers is an experienced hospitality professional with a diverse background in hotel management. Currently serving as the Market General Manager at Summit Hospitality Group, Ltd., since November 2015, Pete oversees operations for two hotels in downtown Raleigh. Previous roles include General Manager positions at the AC Hotel Raleigh and the award-winning Residence Inn by Marriott Raleigh Downtown, where responsibilities included enhancing guest satisfaction and achieving financial objectives. Prior experience includes a Bench/Task Force General Manager role at Hotel Equities and leadership positions at Interstate Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International, where Pete managed operations for various premium brands. Pete holds a Dual BA in Economics and Business Management from North Carolina State University.
