Syed Abdul Salam

Syed Abdul Salam is a seasoned professional in computer vision and machine learning with extensive experience in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and PaddlePaddle. Currently serving as a Senior Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer at Summit Innovations since May 2022, Syed specializes in object detection and tracking techniques, including YOLO architectures and various deployment strategies for real-time applications. Previous roles include Machine Learning Engineer at Echoview Software, where Syed focused on image segmentation and TensorFlow model deployment, and Research Assistant at the University of Tasmania, addressing challenges in radio-glaciology using machine learning methods.
