Evan Chinn is a seasoned legal and human resources professional with extensive experience in public sector administration and labor relations. Currently serving as a Partner at Summit Law Group since January 2023, Evan previously held the position of Human Resources Director for the City of Lynnwood and played a key role at the City of Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections as both Division Director and Human Resources Director. With a robust background in advising on labor and employee relations, performance management, and compliance, Evan has also contributed significantly to the City of Seattle Department of Transportation, overseeing HR for a diverse workforce. Earlier career highlights include roles as an Associate Attorney at Sebris Busto James, Field Attorney at the National Labor Relations Board, and Judicial Clerk at the Washington State Court of Appeals. Evan Chinn holds a JD from the University of Washington School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Washington, along with a certificate from the Government Alliance on Race & Equity.
