Julio da Silva

Julio Da Silva has extensive work experience in various roles related to IT and business intelligence. Julio is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Summit Materials, a position they started in December 2021. Prior to this role, Julio held positions such as Board of Governor at Farmers Insurance and IT VP Business Systems Engineering at Prologis. Julio also served as the IT VP Enterprise Applications at Alterra Mountain Company and Global IT Director at Newmont Mining Corporation. Before that, they worked at Coors as a Program Manager for Business Intelligence. Julio began their career as a Senior Designer at Reutech Engineering Systems and has worked at companies such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Accenture in consulting roles. In addition, they have provided advisory services as a Board Advisor for Metallum, a start-up company focused on big-data solutions for the mining industry.

Julio Da Silva attended the University of the Witwatersrand from 1988 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical.
