Drew Updike

Drew Updike currently serves as Physician Executive and Medical Director at Summit Medical Consultants, PLLC, focusing on patient care in post-acute, assisted living, and long-term care settings. Previously, Drew held the position of Assistant Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine from November 2018 to October 2025. Drew's experience includes serving as Medical Director of Clinical & Regulatory Affairs at CorroHealth and Senior Medical Director of Clinical Revenue Cycle at UCHealth, where responsibilities encompassed clinical and regulatory consulting and supporting utilization management and payer relations. Drew began a medical career as a hospitalist at Boulder Community Health from July 2013 to November 2018. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University and a Master of Public Health from Tulane University School of Medicine.
