Victoria Putnam is an experienced community engagement and outreach professional with a diverse background in environmental education and park management. Currently serving as Community Engagement Manager and previously as Outreach Manager at Summit Metro Parks since August 2018, Victoria has effectively supervised park staff and volunteers at various organizations, including Cleveland Metroparks and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. Victoria's career also includes experience in sales and marketing support in the food retail industry, management of nonprofit programs focused on cultural education and youth development, and educational programming at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. With a Master of Arts in Earth Literacy and a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Chemistry/Education, Victoria combines academic knowledge with practical experience to foster community engagement and promote environmental stewardship.

Established in 1921, Summit Metro Parks celebrated its centennial anniversary in 2021. The park district manages more than 15,000 acres throughout 16 parks, three nature centers and over 150 miles of trails, including 22 miles of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail.
