Tai Sposato has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Currently, they are the Head Alpine Ski Coach at Summit Middle School since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Summit School District as a Humanities Teacher, focusing on Middle School Social Studies from November 2013 onwards. Tai has experience in curriculum development, meeting academic standards, and implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support strategies.
In addition to their teaching role, Tai also served as an Assistant Coach at Team Summit Colorado, where they coached youth in skiing and life skills using ski racing. Tai followed guidelines set by the US Ski and Snowboard Association and aimed to elevate youth through winter sports. Tai started working at Team Summit Colorado in December 2007 and continued until September 2019.
Tai also contributed to the sports programs at Summit High School, where they served as an Assistant Basketball Coach from November 2012 to July 2014. Tai focused on teaching offensive and defensive sets, developing talent and skills, and collaboratively working with a three-coach staff to improve the program. Additionally, they were the Assistant Baseball Coach and Head JV from August 2010 to July 2014.
Before their involvement with the school sports programs, Tai worked as a Baseball Coach at Summit Extreme Baseball from June 2009 to November 2010. Furthermore, they gained ski instruction experience as a Ski Instructor at Keystone Ski and Ride School from December 2008 to April 2010.
Tai Sposato earned a Master's Degree in Education from Adams State University, from the year 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Post-baccalaureate Teacher Preparation in Social Science degree from Western Governors University Online, spanning from 2011 to 2013. Tai completed their undergraduate education at the University of Oregon, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, attending from 1999 to 2004.
