Ariel Pliscoff has a wealth of work experience in the legal and environmental sectors. From 2009 to 2012, they were a lawyer for the Ministry of Public Works Water Directorate and the Environmental Assessment Service. From 2012 to 2014, they were Regional Secretary of Mining Ministry Tarapacá Region and a Senior Manager at Deloitte. From 2018 to 2019, they were Deputy Director of Strategy & Sustainability at Corfo, and from 2019 to 2023 they were a Lawyer and Regional Chief in the Ministry of the Environment Tarapaca Chile at superintendencia medio ambiente. Currently, they are Manager External Affairs at Summit Nanotech.
Ariel Pliscoff's education history includes a Study Law degree from Universidad Gabriela Mistral between 2001 and 2005, a Diploma in Environmental Law from Del Desarrollo University from 2010 onwards, a Masters in Environmental Law and Natural Resources from Universidad del Desarrollo between 2014 and 2016, and a Professor in Environmental Law from Universidad Central (CL) between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, in July 2020, Ariel obtained a certification in International Climate Change Law and Policy from the University of Newcastle.
