Danny Ross, P.Eng.

Danny Ross, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Meter Reader at ATCO Gas for nine months before moving on to roles at the City of Calgary, where they served as a Driver/Labourer for four years, performing tasks such as snow removal and small equipment operation. In 2014, Danny joined Tbaytel as an Outdoor Plants Engineering Student Intern, where they used GIS, Martens, and AutoCAD to update drawings and customer accounts. Danny also played a key role in rolling out fiber to communities, conducting site visits, reading drawings, and coordinating with contractors and engineering/planning departments.

In 2015, Danny took on two roles simultaneously. At LU Formula SAE, they served as a Project Manager for Thunderwolf Racing, organizing a team and managing tasks and deadlines for design and build teams. Danny also worked on the Frame Design Senior Design Project at LUFSAE, designing a bespoke frame that adhered to FSAE requirements and maximized the power-to-weight ratio.

From 2017 to 2022, Danny worked at Shawcor, starting as a Jr Product Engineer and later transitioning to the role of Product Manager. Danny'sresponsibilities included managing products and projects, and they gained expertise in the industry.

Most recently, in 2022, Danny joined HOCS Projects as an Intermediate Project Engineer. After several months, they moved on to their current role as a Project Engineer at Inter Pipeline, starting in 2023. Overall, Danny's work experience showcases their versatility, technical skills, and ability to handle diverse responsibilities.

Danny Ross, P.Eng. completed their high school education at Campbell Collegiate from 2002 to 2006, earning their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. In 2007, they attended Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), where they obtained a certificate as an Emergency Medical Responder. From 2011 to 2013, Danny pursued a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology at SAIT. Finally, they attended Lakehead University from 2013 to 2016, where they successfully earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
