Jena Wyllie has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to GIS and operations. Jena began their career in 1997 as a Mapper at The Cadastral Group. In 2001, they moved to Boyd PetroSearch as a GIS Technician. In 2007, they joined Destiny Resources in the same role. From 2010 to 2018, they worked at RPS Europe as an Operations Support Manager and Geographic Information Systems Coordinator. During this time, they were responsible for facilitating government, stakeholder and contractor relationships, leading the management and execution of obtaining government approvals, and leading a team of five people. In 2018, they joined Redline Real Estate Group as a Licensed Realtor, where they provided open, honest and professional advice as clients pursued making their largest personal capital investment. Jena also managed CRM and streamlines systematic workflows, proactively addressed client needs and wants through solid transparent communication, and created professional marketing and advertising on numerous social media platforms and print. In 2020, they joined Summit Nanotech as Operations Manager and Lead Operations.

Jena Wyllie's education history includes a two-year Engineering Design and Drafting program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 1992 to 1994, followed by a Certificate in Effective Communications & Human Relations/Skills for Success from Dale Carnegie Training from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, Jena obtained a Seismic Field Operations Supervisor certification in April 2015.
